Ingredients
Scale
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Pinch of salt
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small pot, combine apple cider, apple cider vinegar, honey, crushed garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then simmer until reduced by half and syrupy.
- Pat dry the chicken thighs and place them in a baking dish.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken and turn to coat.
- Bake the chicken for about 15 minutes, then flip and baste with juices.
- Continue baking until browned and sticky. Optionally, broil for a few minutes to caramelize.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in half of the cider mixture for a few hours before cooking. Always pat your chicken dry for better crispiness.
