Soft and spiced cinnamon rolls that are perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package instant yeast
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the mixture, then gradually add flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for about 1.5 hours.
  4. Roll out the dough to a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and cream cheese together until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
