- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 package instant yeast
- 1 cup milk, warmed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the mixture, then gradually add flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for about 1.5 hours.
- Roll out the dough to a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and cream cheese together until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
