Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp tomato ketchup or chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: Chop into bite-sized pieces and mix with all seasonings, sauces, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and oil. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or overnight for better flavor.
- Chop the vegetables into large, even chunks.
- Heat up the grill or griddle pan.
- Thread the marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onions onto skewers, alternating for even flavor.
- Grill over medium-high heat, flipping occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes until charred.
- Remove from grill and let rest before serving.
Notes
Let the marinade sit for the best flavor. Ensure all items on the skewer are of similar size for even cooking. Soak wooden skewers before using to prevent burning.
