Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place boneless chicken breasts on a sheet pan and drizzle generously with olive oil.
  3. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for even cooking.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning if desired.
  5. Brush with a little more olive oil.
  6. If using, add barbecue sauce in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
