- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts into butterfly cuts if they are thick.
- In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
- Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest, slice it, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Serve with fresh salad and warm bread.
