Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into butterfly cuts if they are thick.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Let the chicken rest, slice it, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Serve with fresh salad and warm bread.
