- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz egg noodles (or pasta of choice)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Paprika, optional
- Sliced mushrooms, optional
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Stir in beef broth and sour cream, mixing well until combined.
- Add cooked noodles, tossing to combine with the meat mixture.
- Layer the mixture in a baking dish, sprinkling cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until bubbly and golden, approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Try adding sliced mushrooms for extra flavor. Use freshly shredded cheese for best results.
