- 1 block cream cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: browned ground beef or Italian sausage
- Optional: grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti al dente according to package instructions, then set aside.
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for easier mixing.
- Toss the warm noodles with cream cheese, milk, salt, and pepper. Optional: fold in browned meat.
- Pour the creamy mixture into a casserole dish.
- Top with marinara sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. If not browned to your liking, leave it in for a few extra minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. It freezes well; just label and thaw before reheating.
