Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onions (yellow or red)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Dash of paprika or Italian seasoning (optional)
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well with your hands.
- Shape the mixture into balls and flatten them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook each patty for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- For air fryer method, spray the basket and cook at 375°F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
Notes
These patties can be frozen and reheated directly from the freezer. Feel free to add vegetables or different seasonings as per your preference.
