Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb crispy breaded chicken (breasts or thighs)
- 4 brioche buns (or ciabatta/sub rolls)
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with an egg wash, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Dunk chicken pieces in flour, then dip in egg wash, and finally press into breadcrumbs.
- Fry the chicken in a little oil until browned and cooked through, or use an oven/air fryer for a hands-off method.
- Toast the buns lightly.
- Spread Caesar dressing on the buns.
- Layer with lettuce, then the fried chicken, and top with grated Parmesan.
- Drizzle additional dressing if desired, assemble the sandwich, and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crunch, press the breadcrumbs on the chicken firmly. Let the chicken rest before assembling. Warm buns enhance the overall flavor.
