- 2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, optional
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
- Place chicken in the slow cooker and cover with cream of chicken soup.
- Add chopped carrots, celery, and optional onion.
- Pour in chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken in the pot.
- Drop biscuit pieces on top and cover; cook for an additional 35-60 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
Notes
Check gravy seasoning before serving; adding a pinch of salt and pepper can enhance the flavor. If using homemade dumplings, be cautious with cooking time to avoid gumminess.
