Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • Optional: Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the chicken broth (or water) to the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours until fully cooked.
  5. If desired, broil the chicken for a few minutes to crisp the skin before serving.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken before serving for added flavor.

Notes

For extra juiciness, add a splash of broth halfway through cooking. Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed veggies.
