- 1 baguette or ciabatta, sliced
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes or 3 medium beefsteak tomatoes, diced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, halved
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a pan over medium heat.
- Toast the bread slices for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Rub the warm toast with garlic.
- Top with mozzarella slices and diced tomatoes.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky salt.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider using sourdough bread, or adding oregano and a pinch of hot honey on top.
