- 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 pkg store-bought tortellini
- 1/2 cup pesto
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh grated parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add cubed steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and remaining butter. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
- In a separate pot, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain.
- Add tortellini to the skillet with steak and stir in pesto until everything is well coated.
- Serve immediately, topped with fresh grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute zucchini noodles for tortellini. Adjust the richness of the sauce to your liking with creamy Alfredo or sun-dried tomatoes.
