Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Open the biscuit can and separate the biscuits. Cut each in half.
  3. Flatten each piece to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Cut the mozzarella into 16 small cubes.
  5. Place a cheese cube in the center of each dough piece.
  6. Wrap the dough around the cheese, sealing it tightly.
  7. Place the bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  8. Mix 3 tablespoons of melted butter with 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning; brush this mixture over the bombs.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Brush with remaining garlic butter mixture after baking.
