- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups potatoes, cubed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 splash of broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Optional: green onions or peas for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add the cubed potatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir in a splash of broth, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
- Once the potatoes are tender, add garlic, cream, and cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Serve warm, garnishing with green onions or peas if desired.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground beef for ground turkey or chicken. You can also use milk or Greek yogurt instead of cream.
