One-Pot Smoky Cheddar Ranch Chicken & Sausage Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound chicken chunks
  • 8 ounces beef sausage, sliced
  • 8 ounces dry pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken chunks and brown them.
  3. Toss in beef sausage slices.
  4. Layer dry pasta over the meat.
  5. Pour in chicken broth until it covers the ingredients.
  6. Add ranch seasoning and stir well.
  7. Cover the pot, reduce heat, and let it cook.
  8. Stir occasionally until pasta is done.
  9. Stir in shredded cheddar until melted.
  10. Serve with a sprinkle of green onions or parsley if desired.

Notes

For creaminess, stir in sour cream just before serving. You can customize the meat or add veggies.
