- 600g plain flour
- 300ml milk
- 100g butter
- 35g sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 110°F to 115°F and mix with the yeast.
- Add flour, butter, eggs, sugar, and cinnamon to form a dough.
- Knead until tacky but not sticky.
- Let the dough rise for 90 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to a 12×18 inch rectangle and spread melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon on top.
- Roll tightly and cut into equal pieces.
- Arrange the rolls in a greased baking pan, spacing them 1 inch apart for soft sides.
- Let them rise for another 45 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 190°F to 200°F.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes and glaze with cream cheese mixture.
Notes
Experiment with spacing for different textures and moisture levels. Chilling dough overnight enhances flavor.
